We are delighted that the community group Sheddington now has a based in one of our garages. This is not a church group but the brainchild of Dr Chris Manning who was inspired by the men’s sheds movement in Australia. Sheddington is open to all and one of its first projects was mending the damage to the gate which suffered in storm Gareth.
The gardens are looking good with the bee friendly garden that the children planted last year looking particularly colourful at the moment. The new hedge is beginning to flower.
We are planting sunflowers around the ball court in Addison Road on Saturday 25th May at 11am and we are planning another community planting day inJuly similar to the one we did last year where we planted out flowers donated by Hampton Court.
The permission to create a disabled toilet and a new kitchen is being requested of the church powers that be. Plans are in church or ask the vicar or Churchwardens.
