The church will be closed from the 1st August for around 10 days as the floor is sanded down and revarnished. The pews have been cut down and can be moved on their own skateboards. We need to order more chairs and new pew cushions but we will wait to see what colour the floor is before we make our final decision.
Our local carpenter David Olsen of St Marks Rd Teddington did a brilliant job and we are delighted with our new moveable pews.
