Just before Christmas we had a burst pipe which meant that the vicar ended up wading though the vestry corridor, kitchen, storage cupboards and the server’s vestry when she popped in to do a bit of admin. Thankfully the water hadn’t been pouring in for that long and it could be swept out quickly. We are hugely grateful to Richfords the disaster recovery service provided by our insurers EIG who provided blowers and a dehumidifer and we are delighted that the affected area is now dry. We are waiting to hear if there is any further work needed on the floors. Thank you to everyone for your patience as we worked around big bits of machinery and to those who moved everything in the affected areas somewhere else.
