Vigil for Remembrance Day

On the 10th November at 6.30pm there will be a short vigil for Remembrance Sunday and 100th anniversary of the end of the first world world war. The vigil will feature poetry, music and memories of relatives who lived through the war.

The silhouette is in memory of Bill Harris whose name is on the memorial board in the chapel at St Mark’s. The names of those who died are read out at the main Sunday service at 10am on 11th November.

Halloween

At Halloween hardy volunteers from St Mark’s handed out sweets, candied eyeballs and snakes to children trick or treating in St Marks Road Teddington. All the treats were gone by 7pm so we need to make sure we have more next year!
