This year we risked complete darkness (except for the choir who needed to see their music) and sang our carols by candlelight only. Ian took some photos so that you can see how it all looked. Mince pies, mulled wine and biscuits were enjoyed afterwards.
On Christmas Eve we have a Crib Service at 5pm where the children help to make the crib scene. We sing carols and hear the story of the first Christmas. It is a very popular service so come early to get a good seat!
At 11.30pm on Christmas Eve we celebrate the first communion of Christmas. This is a quiet and reflective service with traditional carols, communion and a short sermon. The service will last around an hour.
On Thursday the 22nd of December at 6.30pm we will have our annual candlelit carol service. We will sing carols entirely by candlelight, hear the Christmas story and some poetry. There will be mince pies and mulled wine afterwards. A lovely way to start the Christmas season. We are on St Mark’s Road TW11 9DE and minutes from the 281/285 St Mark’s Road bus stop. Everyone is welcome.
