Tea and scones for the Queen at 90
Around fifty people aged from eight to eighty and two dogs celebrated the Queen’s ninetieth birthday by eating tea and scones and cakes. We made a decision at lunchtime to hold the event indoors and although the sun shone as we gathered the rain hammered down by 4pm so we made the right decision to go into the hall. Pictures of the event are in the gallery below. The raffle was enjoyed by all and Frank, one of the congregational dogs (pictured bottom left) was delighted with his win of some scented body lotion.
